FloydFest Daydream 26 in the Blue Ridge Mountains

July 22–26, 2026 · FestivalPark · Check, VA

Five days. Seven stages. 100+ artists. The Blue Ridge Parkway as your backdrop. FloydFest is one of the best music festivals in the mid-Atlantic, and it's about a 3-hour drive from DC. If you've never been, this is the year.

What Is FloydFest Daydream?

FloydFest 26~Daydream runs July 22–26, 2026 at FestivalPark in Check, Virginia — right in the heart of the Blue Ridge Mountains in Floyd County. It's an all-ages, camping festival built around live music, outdoor adventure, craft beer, and a genuine community vibe that brings people back every year.

The 2026 lineup includes My Morning Jacket, Tedeschi Trucks Band, Larkin Poe, Lukas Nelson, Railroad Earth, Robert Randolph, and over 100 more artists across seven stages. There's a full children's area (Children's Universe), food vendors, artisan market, and the kind of late-night picking sessions that don't show up on any official schedule.

It's five days. Pack accordingly.

Skip the tent. Skip the hotel.

FloydFest offers on-site camping, and a Vander van makes it easy. All three of our van models are compact enough to fit a standard Park & Camp pass (20x20 ft), fully self-contained, and off-grid capable, so you don't need hookups.

Wake up inside the festival grounds. Make coffee. Walk to the music.

No hauling gear. No packing down a wet tent at the end of the weekend. No driving back into town for a shower.

The van is your campsite, your kitchen, and your home base for the whole run.

Review 1: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ "We can definitely recommend the DMV Cruiser from Vander. So much easier than those clumsy American RVs. With this campervan we were able to visit both small roads and national parks without any problem. We lacked nothing at all. The camper is very easy to operate, and the all-electric system (without LPG) is super handy. Justin gave us all the explanations in a clear and stress-free way. And he was always available for questions, and even gave suggestions for trips for our vacation."

Review 2: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ "We rented a Vander Cascade campervan for an incredible 2 week roundtrip from DC to OKC in summer 2023. Justin provided so many great tips and answered all of our questions thoroughly. The Cascade van was thoughtfully outfitted. This was our first experience with a camper van, and we look forward to future trips with Vander!" — Beth Simmonds

Review 3: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ "We rented with Vander Outdoors for a trip to Shenandoah National Park and it was great! Justin did a great job of explaining everything prior to handing it off to us. He was super communicative and met us at a convenient location for pick up and drop off. Would definitely rent from this company again!"
