appalachia - A Powerhouse Compact Campervan
Coming in April 2025! The Appalachia is the latest campervan from Cascade Campers, and is an exciting new take on the compact campervan. With a powerful rooftop solar array and lithium-ion battery, the Appalachia has the juice to power all of your campervan systems and devices!
Appalachia Features
The Ram Promaster 118" wheelbase, low-roof van, is a basic van and is very easy to drive. It has respectable fuel economy and is small enough to drive in most areas and park in normal parking spots. Â
Driveable and Fuel Efficient
Fold out the large bed for a great night’s sleep, or transform it into a sitting area during the day. Â
Large Bed
Prepare meals on the induction cooktop (no propane!), with ample counterspace for meal prep. Clean up in the sink with 10 gallons of on-board water storage. The 12V fridge keeps food fresh without having to deal with ice management. Plenty of storage options in drawers and cubbies. Â
Awesome Kitchen
Up to 2 people can travel in comfort and safety. Ample seating options, with the long couch and swivel front seat. Â
Couple Carrier
Plenty of juice to power your adventure, wherever you go. The roof is covered in solar panels that charge the campervan battery. The battery also charges when the engine is running. In a pinch, the charger can be plugged in to campsite electrical outlets. Â

Vander had the right van for our weeklong adventure.
Perfection. Vander had the right van for our weeklong adventure. We rented the Caravan to explore southern VA and southern WV. It handled the mountains with ease and gave us a rest bit from a rainy afternoon. The only thing it’s left me wanting was to try their Sprinter van for our next adventure. Having a stove and fridge was clutch and made our trip so much easier.
We had a great experience renting through Vander. Van (2019 Dodge Grand Caravan) was as expected and just right for our camping getaway weekend. It was clean and well-maintained. We had plenty of storage space for all our gear, especially with the luggage rack add-on and roof nest tent. Having a stove and fridge was clutch and made our trip so much easier. Justin was responsive to all questions we had while on our trip. Would rent again (and probably will)!

You bet! In-person demonstrations cost $50 per van, which can be credited to any reservation within 12 months.
